Training Specialist Positions Available
Training Specialists are instructors trained to conduct American Red Cross Health & Safety Courses in both community and workplace settings throughout the Wood County and Clark County areas. Training Specialists impart knowledge and skills consistent with American Red Cross policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines. Training Specialists may choose to be a:
Part-Time on Call Instructor: A Part-Time on Call Instructor is an authorized instructor hired on an hourly basis by the Chapter to conduct American Red Cross classes scheduled by the Chapter and attend staff meetings. The part-time on call instructor must teach a minimum of 6 classes per year to retain employment. The instructor also must not go for more than 6 months without teaching for the Chapter.
Volunteer Instructor: An authorized instructor, who beyond the confines of other paid employment and responsibilities, contributes time and service to conduct American Red Cross classes scheduled by the Chapter.
